Woohoo!
It's done!
I am sorry that I didn't have this posted yesterday when I promised but like I said here, growing a human in HARD WORD!
When I started my layout for this week I decided right away that it was important that for each week I had a title card. I also decided that I wanted to use as much of the layout I could to include scrapbook elements and techniques that I have been wanting to use for quite some time.
I will apologize however for the lighting. Getting home after dark each day makes it extremely hard to use the natural light to capture good pictures.
So let's get started:
Week 1 of Project Life, the full spread:
You can see that it looks mostly like a traditional layout, the only difference is that I am not taking a picture a day, but doing a weekly overview.
The left side:
The "Hello 2012" came from one of Ali Edwards brush set that you can find here. The font is a free Ali handwriting font that you can find on her blog. I also used a SmashPad journaling card from the Blank Collection. I love how they fit just perfectly into the journaling spots.
The right side:
I love how the title card turned out! I used a bunch of different elements to create a very vintage feeling look with that bold burst of blue.
I used some of the Clementine Cardstock for the base of the page. The blue ribbon was from my stash but I'm exactly sure where it is from or what the color is. It was the perfect color though! I used some Kraft Cardstock from Hobby Lobby for the pennant and the date was stamped using a stamp that was included in an older Project Life kit. I inked all the edges using Crumb Cake ink from Stampin' Up! The tag was made using a small creative tag from Recollections. The paper that I collaged onto the tag it from the Linen Closet collection mat-stack from DCWV.
I wanted to include another small mini-layout so I used one of the 3x4 journaling cards from the kit and added a Tim Holtz stamp from his The Journey stamp set, stamped it in the same Crumb Cake ink and then used a new Stampin' Up set called Vintage Fresh {not available yet} to stamp a little flower in the corner using Baja Breeze Stampin' Up Ink. The heart is from Hobby Lobby and I couldn't find the packaging but I know I got it during Christmas time in the mini-tree section.
The last little extra that I included was two journaling cards that included 2012 goals from both Landen and myself. I love that both of our handwriting is stuck right there in the first pages of the book.
I LOVE how my first week turned out! I've already started preparing my pictures for this week. Be on the lookout for extra inserts though since my first Baby Shower is this weekend {can I get a woot woot?!}
And now for the fun stuff:
The thing that I love most about Project Life is its versatility. My album already looks so different from last years album and yet I love them both in different ways.
I hope you all have a great weekend and good luck with the giveaway!
A GIVEAWAY
In honor of Project Life and how much it has done to renew my love for scrapbooks and documenting my memories, I am giving away a $25 Amazon giftcard! This will cover the cost of any of the Project Life core kits. Shipping is free too if you select the free super saver shipping option!

Hi! My name is Edwena and I found your blog from The Creative Mom. I really enjoyed your video on your PL Album from 2011. We live in Southern Ohio, actually from reading through your blog some it sounds like we're really close to you. I'm looking forward to my year with PL because it's something I think will get done. I've done regular scrapbooking in the past but it was very time consuming and eventually didn't get done with being a momma to 2. I want to record their lives. I always loved looking at my mom's albums growing up. What a generous giveaway! Thanks for a chance to win.
ReplyDeleteSo excited to find your blog! I am currently living in KY and moving to WA soon- I think Project Life would be a great way to document this exciting new chapter of our lives- Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI'm Beth from Queensland, Australia and found you through Becky Higgins. I love looking at blogs such as yours for ideas and inspiration for Project Life.
This will be my first year doing PL and have fallen in love with the whole concept of it, and ALL the kits! I love how individual and creative each layout can be and (hopefully) it will be a pleasure to put together throughout the year. I am contemplating doing a baby album of my son (now 11 !) if all goes well :)
I am mostly looking forward to actually FINISHING a big scrapping project..lol.
I love the little creative touches to your first week pages - really makes it so YOU and individual.
Thanks for the inspiration :)
Hello, my name is Hollie. I'm from St. Louis, MO and I have been looking at the Project Life items recently. I would use my Instagram photos that I take daily and do a month by month album.
ReplyDeleteHi I am Amanda from Edmonton, Alberta Canada and just started following your blog! I too am growing a human and man has it wiped me out (6 weeks yay!)! My daughter is currently 8 months old so you can imagine how busy I am. I want to start Project Life this year and although I haven't purchased any items yet, I'm staying super organized with my pictures and journaling comments for when I have all my items. I have never been a scrap booker but when my friend showed me Project Life, I was instantly sold! Thanks for sharing your first couple of weeks of Project Life!
ReplyDeleteI am Meredith from Brookfield , Wisconsin, and I use Project Life as childhood albums for my girls. In 2012 I'm hoping to finish all my 3 year old's books and get started on my 1 year old's.
ReplyDeleteI'd love a Project Life Core set, I don't have it. Thanks for sharing how you use your set. My name is Lyn and I live in NY, USA. I found your site through Becky Higgins Facebook post. Life is precious, we need to document it.
ReplyDeleteHi, I am Sue from Chilliwack, BC Canada. I am going to add your blog to my Google Reader so I can see your posts. I am really looking forward to documenting an entire year in our lives and catching all the small details that otherwise would be forgotten. I did a 365 project in 2009 and made a digital book but that had more of an artistic aspect and less of daily life. I am not doing a photo a day either. I am also doing the weekly overview - way less pressure!!
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm Jan from Cincinnati, Ohio. I've purchased the core kit of the Clementine Version, and this is the first time I will be trying Project Life. It just seems like a great idea. I haven't gotten started making pages yet, but I have taken some photos. I always have trouble starting, because I'm afraid I won't do it "right." But once I jump in, I'm sure I'll love it. The idea of just being able to put photos and bits of journaling and tickets stubs and whatnot, and just make a page without worrying about the rule of thirds and all that stuff--it's brilliant. Can't wait to get started, really!
ReplyDeleteRegina from Ketchikan, AK. Project Life is awesome! Can't wait to start!
ReplyDeleteHi, I found your blog through Becky Higgins, and I love your style. This is my third year attempting Project Life and my hope for this year is to complete the entire year and make fun memories with my son along the way.

My name is Lakeisha Horne and I am from Philadelphia,PA. I want to live through a year of PL (newbie) to document the lives of my children & my marriage. I never before really documented our lives for one reason or another. 2012 is a year of growth for me. Wait!!! My One Little Word: GROWTH. I have changed the definition of what I thought life should be and accepted the challenge of embracing it. I am so excited and look forward to reading your blog during "Mommy's Morning". Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHello, I am now following your blog through Networked Blogs. I found you through Becky Higgins. I am in Oregon. What I look forward to the most about Project Life is getting back to scrapping and not using the phrase "I am so behind" anymore (even though I am, several years, lol). All my fingers and toes are crossed!
ReplyDeletehi! i'm dawn and i live in orlando, FL. i'm excited that there's such a big community that's doing PL this year. it's like we're all working on it together!
ReplyDeleteHi, my name is AnnEliz. I am a busy mom of three girls who keep me on my toes. I Iove every minute of my crazy hectic life. I am looking for a way to document our journey as a family. I enjoy photography and scrapbooking but I don't always have the time. I am looking forward to trying project life. I enjoy reading your blog and to watch your journey.
ReplyDelete2012 is my first year doing Project Life and I'm most looking forward to having a place to put all the little scraps of life immediately. I'm loving the immediacy of the whole thing. In stead of waiting until the end of the year where I have hundreds of pictures and all my bits and scraps of the year are misplaced or out of order... I get to put them right into the PL page protectors and print my picture and story to go right with it. Talk about feeling accomplished!
ReplyDeleteMaggie H, Poulsbo WA
Fingers and toes crossed!
My name is Amy and I'm from Oregon. I am so excited about project life also because I'd totally lost my love for scrapbooking. With 2 kids finding time to go drag all of that stuff out was just more work than fun. This is exactly what i need!
ReplyDeleteHi-I am Ann from Kansas. I am trying to get started on Project Life, so winning would be an awesome plus! I just discovered your blog and look forward to your future posts! Any tips for those new to project life would be great..I often can be a procrastinator, so I can get started!
ReplyDeleteHi there! I'm Ellie From NY & Found you via Becky. For me this is my 2nd year doing PL & wish so much I would have done this before. I love that I have been able to look back at our last year. Especially for my kids its a wonderful place to go and see our live as it passed w/adventures & growth. This is what I look forward to doing once more. My oldest will be graduating 8th grade then to enter HS. My youngest will be registered for Kindergarten and my middle son will step up to be his starting pitcher for Little League & this year I will be blessed to be married to my husband for 10 yrs. so I have LOTS of memories to document besides these "main" points..can't think of a better way to be able to document our life then doing this! Thanks so much for the chance & Look forward to seeing your Album unfold as well.
ReplyDeleteI love that you are doing a weekly overview. I know myself very well and don't think I could keep up with the photo a day theme. I hope to be able to keep up with a weekly recap of my little family's life. Thanks for the chance to win. I'm Ramona from Yorktown Heights, NY.
ReplyDeleteHi! My name is Lynne and I just subscribed to your feed. I am in Los Angeles. This is my first year doing PL and it really felt good completing my first layout. I need to get more supplies to work on 2011!
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm Alicia, from Hillsboro, OR! I've decided to use Project Life to document my PAST, as i'm still a traditional scrapbooker. I have a lot of "ME" I want to document and share with my children. I'm so excited to get started on this project!!!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Suzanne from Outlook, Washington State. I'm very excited to start PL for the first time ever!! I've been reading and collecting ideas for quite some time now and anxious to really get going. Have the first week done - what a great feeling! I watch your blog, of course Becky's and a few others for great ideas. Thanks for posting all the ideas for us newbies to PL, it really is inspiring :)
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm Dawn from Ohio. I started PL in June of last year & will be doing one for the this year also. I love looking back at what our everyday life looks like instead of just the "big" moments that I used to only scrap. My kids love looking thru this book also! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Jennifer. We currently live in El Paso, TX. We are planning on moving yet again this summer. Being in the military, it is hard to pack up and keep up with the scrapbooking during the moves. I look forward to doing weekly layouts being able to take it with me and continue to work on it the whole time. Thanks for offering this chance to win!
ReplyDeletehi stephanie from blythewood, sc. i hoping to work on project life so that i can keep a visual record of the year while my husband is deployed and will be missing this time with our two young boys.

Hello! My name is Wilda Ferch from Bakersfield, California. I love the idea of collecting the memories in a simple way. Looking forward to the future when we can sit down and go thru all the project together and reminisce!
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm Kristie, from Groveton, NH. I have been doing Project Life for 2 years now, 2012 is my 3rd year and I LOVE it.
ReplyDeleteI love capturing what our family does over the year.
My name is Yvonne and I'm from British Columbia, Canada. I love doing PL because it's such a great way to actually print and see the thousands of pictures I take. I love the simplicity of it all and yet has room for me to add memorabilia to it if I so desire.
ReplyDeleteI am new and haven't even started my book...still waiting on pages, so the giveaway would be great!! But thank you for the inspiration! You make it look so pretty, yet still do-able. I look forward to following you!
ReplyDeleteHi from Deirdre in Moab, UT. Just came over from Becky's FB shout-out. Congrats on the baby on the way! How great you already have PL to capture some of the journey. I'd love to use PL to create "school of life" type albums for my boys. I did Project Life in 2010, the 365 style. Don't know why it never occurred to me to do a week spread instead of sticking to the Photo-a-day approach! Way more doable.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win!
My name is Janice. I have been stalling getting Project Life. This would definitely get me started. Haha. I am looking forward to having an amazing book of everyday memories to look back on. I know my children will love looking through them as much as I will.
ReplyDeleteHi! I'm Allison and I live in central California. I have been watching people do PL for a few years and finally have decided to take the plunge and try it. I love that it captures our DAILY lives and not just the big events. Now my boys will remember those shoes we bought, or when the youngest smashed all the bread! LOL!!!!

ReplyDeleteHi, my name is Kim and I found your blog through a link on Becky's facebook page. I live in Ohio, where we are currently having our first big snow storm...it's about time! :-) I'm really excited about capturing the every day moments with my Project Life kit. I'm now following your blog!
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm Katie from West Bloomfield, MI! I am loving your blog, and I just watched your video from the other day. I am also growing another human being (our third), and we also just moved to a new house in the fall, which took a toll on my 2011 PL - but I did manage to play catch-up and finish it! I am even more excited about my 2012 PL, knowing what things gave me the most trouble last year (like trying to include a photo for every day, which didn't end up working out so well!). I do already have the core kit for this year, but I still need all the other goodies (like page protectors!) for this year, so I would love that gift card!
ReplyDeleteHi! I am Vikki Sealey from Hondo, TX. 2012 will be my fourth year doing Project Life. I love when I finish a week, a month, or even a year and my children can't wait to get their hands on it! Documenting our lives and reminiscing over the details of our past brings great joy to me! Nothing greater than seeing my seven year old grab her camera to capture her own picture of the day!
ReplyDeleteI am following your blog. I look forward to recording my first year of marriage in my project life
ReplyDeleteSorry...I forgot to introduce myself in the previous comment! I'm Paige from Birmingham, AL. An avid scrapper, pediatric nurse and mother of 2. My husband is in the process of opening a small business so our life is very busy. I love the idea of PL to help simplify my need to scrap all of my pictures. And I hope to go back and put my college years in an album. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Erin and I live in Byron Center, MI. I love how Project Life allows me to put together a meaningful family heirloom while still being able to enjoy life with my family. I love to scrapbook, but due to little time to do it, I'd never get any of them completed! Project Life takes a lot of the work out while allowing me to put in as much creativity as i want! Last year was my first year doing Project life and I would really like to do it again this year!!!!
ReplyDeleteHeidi Cockrell from Ohio. I look forward to having this year documented for our family!

ReplyDeleteMy name is Monica and I'm from Maryland. I def love following blogs, so this one will be added to my list! :) Project Life has been introduced to many of my friends, by me, of coarse, however, it's been a huge part of my life, it brings back memories of those I love and it will leave a legacy when I am gone. It's amazing the little moments you remember, once you've started.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes - - my fingers and toes are crossed!!!
My name is Lea. I live in St. Louis with my fiance and daughter. I am looking forward to Project Life because this year is a big one. ReplyDeleteOops, guess these were supposed to be in ONE comment, sorry... I am Sally, from Akron, Ohio. I have used the Project Life kit for a 365 photo project. I have another one ordered for a Disney trip (LOTS of photos!) I've ordered the turquoise binder and paper, but I'm still waiting on the core kit to come in. I can't wait to get started on the Disney album! I am a year overdue, and it will be such a relief to have things in order! Thanks for the chance to win! ~Sally

Glad to have found your blog, love what your album is looking like... I am interested in starting Project Life as I want to document the everyday & special moments. I know that I would have loved to see my ancestors "project life's" so I want to be sure to start one for my children (who are yet to come) so they can see what it was like back in my time & to remember & reminisce. I am from New York, thanks for the change to win to help get me started on PL :)
ReplyDeleteLove it!! I did PL last year and started a new one for this year. It's so fun to know that I am scrapbooking again!! I have three little ones and the first one has books and books scrapped of her but the little two just have a few pages. What I love is that now there is something about them as well and I don't feel so overwhelmed to do it. In fact pL has got me crafting again in many ways!! Thanks for the chance. I would to give this to a friend at her baby shower. She's starting all over again ( she has a 10 y. o. & a 7 y. o.) and it would be great for her to document all the big changes coming to their life. Jenn Christman, Hesperia CA

My name is Nelia and I'm from Sacramento, CA. I am putting together my first PL album this year! I work full- time and have 2 little girls, 10 months and 5 years. Having two kids is time consuming enough to begin with but in addition, my oldest daughter has a developmental disability which requires a lot of time and energy. PL is allowing me to get our everyday lives documented in a way that is stress free. We have so many things that we need to be doing with my oldest daughter that not feeling guilt on top of that for not getting scrapbooking done is such a life saver! Thank you for this opportunity!
ReplyDeleteHello. I am Karen from Florida. I am looking forward to creating book to document our youngest son's graduation and his going off to college. Thank you so much for the opportunity to win.
ReplyDeleteHi there! My name is Michelle and I am from Hagerstown, MD. I want to do Project Life in 2012- will be my 2nd year. I MUST do it again. On New Year's Eve we looked back at our year and could not believe the little things that would have been forgotten. But because they were journaled or photographed, the memory came rushing back. It was truly amazing! We have a 1 and 3 year old. Before now, I always thought college was the best time of my life. But nothing can top this- having these 2 perfect little people running around and doing and saying the cutest, funniest things. I don't ever want to forget it and project life has made sure that won't happen.
ReplyDeletemy name is michelle from arizona....i am wanting to do project life so that keeping memories of life is not a project! i have five children and really want to start.....just don't know where or when, and this gift would help me to at least purchase the beginnings and feel like i can start and then continue :) thanks!

Hello, love your first week of PL! I'm Crystal from Michigan and I love PL because I'm not a chronological scrapper and with 2 young kiddos there is SO much I miss out on scrapping because I just don't have the time. I don't want to forget any of these special moments as they grow and PL gives me a doable album that is a wonderful combination of the scrapping that I love and the photo album that I have time for.

ReplyDeleteI'm Ang from upstate NY. I started w/paper scrapping 12 years ago and about 6 years ago totally switched to digi. I was still stamping so I kept a huge paper stash. I did a digi P365 in 2010 b/c it was a big year for us and I stuck with it! But ever since I just lost any urge to create. Reading about PL just days before Bew Years started to get me excited about digging into my stash w/o the overwhelming task of creating entire layouts. So here I am, taking pics every day and reading blogs and getting inspired, while waiting for amazon to restock! Lol
ReplyDeleteI have just bookmarked you blog to my PL folder. I check out something PL related every day to stay motivated. :)
My name is Kelli and I live in central TX. I did a Project 365 album last year (using WeR pages and Simple Stories) and this is my first year to get an actual Project Life kit. Thanks for a chance to win some PL goodies!

I've drooled over Project Life materials for over a year but am just now comfortable enough to commit to the project. I love the simplicity and feeling like I can just document in tidbits and drop them into an album. I've been heading that way for years but never gave myself permission to do it. Now I'm all in!
I am Melody from Utah. I am really weird because I love to follow the blogs about PRoject Life but have yet to actually do it. I definately want to do it this year. I think it is a wonderful way to document life and love looking for those moments in my pictures! Cant wait to get it done this year instead of just reading about it.

ReplyDeleteI am Denise from Huntersville NC. I scrapbook my family because I want to preserve all the memories we have together for them for their future. I have few pictures of when I was a child but tons of memories in my mind. Project Life is a great way to help get my memories recorded without writing a novel. I can record special quotes on the journal cards find a pucture on the Internet or take one of a place or person that reminds me of one of my memories to tell the story. It will be interesting to see how it turns out. Thanks for sharing your ideas with us.

I was an avid scrapbooker for a few years while my oldest was little then I tried my hand at digital scrap booking but life happened I started taking taking pictures for friends, weddings , and seniors and just lost time to scrap. . I have made it a resolution that I must tackle these photos and get them in books! Our lives are so important and I want to show that!
ReplyDeleteGood morning! I'm Kerri from just south of Atlanta, Georgia. It is my first time doing Project Life - and I am a bit intimidated when I see a beautiful layout like yours! ReplyDeleteHI there! I am Silvia from Miami, Florida. Glad to have found you here through Becky. I am looking forward to just having a complete album that details some of the parts of our year together. So far it seems to focus around my son, Phoenix, but then again everything I do seems to focus around him so why should this be any different?! LOL. Thanks for the opportunity your pages are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Melissa and I just found you through Becky. I look forward to following your journey through Project Life this year!

ReplyDeleteI'm Sandra from WY. I did a project life book for both my boys last year. I LOVE documenting there every-day stuff, then scrapbooking extra 12x12 pages when I have more time and extra stuff to add. It's so easy! This year I'm doing 3 project life books, one family and one for each child. I'm also planning on going back and updating the few years I missed with each child... so I need more supplies off Amazon. Thanks for the great giveaway!

ReplyDeleteThough I have not started Project Life yet, I really look forward to creating journal cards in photoshop, the journaling process itself, challenging myself to take photos I may not have thought I was comfortable taking, and picking out and executing a color scheme for pages.
I wish everyone good luck and hope you all have a blessed day! <3
I'm Melissa from Anchorage, Alaska. ReplyDeleteHello, I'm Angie A. from So. Cal. I found you through Becky Higgin's Facebook page.
ReplyDeleteA few of my friends are avid scrappers, but I never got into because I thought it was too much work (also, I'm not very creative). I've already finished Week 1 of Project Life and I'm definitely a convert! I love the simplicity of the "system" and it really requires no creative direction from me. I'm looking forward to spending the year documenting everything about 2012; from the big events of the year (I'm graduating from grad school) to the simple pleasures of everyday.
Cheers for doing this giveaway! I'm looking forward to your future posts :)
Hi, I am Audrey Davis from Hillsborough, NC. I look forward to trying out Project Life to complete my son's baby book. Thanks for the chance to win!

ReplyDeleteHi! My name is Selina & I am from Lakeland, FL. I have started following your blog! If I were to win your contest, I would use the Project Life to record our family's 2012. I already do an album for each of my girls, but I would like to have one together for my husband & me. I could also use this as a reference when I work on my girl's albums because I am way behind on them!! I have already taken a picture everyday this year in anticipation of starting a Project Life album. Thank you for this chance to win a great prize!!
ReplyDeleteSelina
Hi! I recently discovered Project Life and am so excited to use it this year. I love scrapbooking but have found myself way behind. I have this really high expectations of myself to produce elaborate works of art. I'm excited to release myself of that and use this simple approach.
ReplyDeleteI subscribed to your blog!
MY name is Czarina Crawford and I am from Murrieta, California. I had plenty of time being a SAHM for nearly 20 years with more "free"time. But, this year I will be enrolling in school to build a future career. PL gives me the opportunity to stay consistent in a passion but take care of business. PL is a workforce bound mother's dream.
ReplyDeleteI am a new follower (found you through Becky Higgins.) My name is Rachel, I live in Colorado, and I am just starting PL and have found instant gratification already when my family snatched the pages out of my hand to look at them. My daughter was commenting on the little pieces I added-how fun is that!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Theresa and Im from Central Florida! Im subscribed to your blog through google reader! I am SO excited to see the final album from this year since this is the year I get married! Thanks for the giveaway offer, I may have to share the love as well : )

ReplyDeleteI'm Mandy from LaGrange, GA. I saw Becky H's facebook post and found my way here. I did Project Life for the first time last year in 2011. I am SOOOOOO excited about 2012. I feel that now I have my feet wet, I know what I'm doing and what's comfortable for me. I look forward to getting a little creative with my PL this year and trying the week at a glance version instead of a picture a day. I've relaxed now that I got through the first year!
ReplyDeleteFollowing your BLOG!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm Trey from Florida. My friend and I decided to scrapbook together this year once a month like we used to do. My only problem was that I have no idea how to start and when I went to the scrapbook store, I was overwhelmed with stuff that I still don't have a clue where to begin. I stumbled upon your blog through looking at Project Life's fb page. I have been wondering if this is where I should begin. It looks pretty good with the divided page protectors. I think I can do it. Thanks for the opportunity of a contest through your blog! Whether I win or lose, I'm going to choose Project Life this year and see how it works.
ReplyDeleteLeave me a comment telling me your name, where you are from, and what you look forward to most about doing/starting Project Life
ReplyDeleteI'm Michelle from Akron, Ohio, and I'm a new follower. *waves hi* Wow, what do I want to accomplish? Just 14 years of scrapbooking for my son. That's all. :) You might have seen me post on Becky's facebook page that I am waaaay behind (13 years and 9 months to be exact) and overwhelmed by scrapbook supplies, layouts, etc. It's just too much. I get overwhelmed and then don't get anything done. I think this would be the perfect solution to my problem. *fingers and toes crossed* :)
Congratulations on the babe!
ReplyDeleteHello, I'm Shaquanna living in southern California. I hope to be able to complete Project Life from last year as well as be able to keep it super simple this year and keep up with it. Thanks for the opportunity for the gift card. Take care.
ReplyDeleteHi I'm Christine from the east coast of Florida. I am excited about project life because I have missed out on documenting my children's lives who are now 16 and 11 and realize that I can't remember a lot of the day to day stuff anymore because of my medications I'm on for seizures. I want to do this now before I forget anymore. Project life is going to help me remember as well as the kids. Enjoyed reading your blog. Thank you!
ReplyDeletegfc follower from South Carolina. I love the aspect of capturing all of the special moments with journaling and picture. Thank you for the chance.

ReplyDeleteHi there! Love your project and all the detail you provided. I'm Debbi, from Kansas. I've wanted to start my own Project Life project for awhile now because I haven't had time for "traditional" scrapbooking that I enjoyed for so many years. Project Life seems like an easy way to keep up...if I can find the time! I just had my first baby boy so I'm looking forward to documenting our new life with him!
ReplyDeleteHi-I'm Melinda T, a follower of your blog from Wisconsin! I'm looking forward to doing project life with my 6yr old daughter, to document our family life to remember and savor our everyday. Like any other mom out there, my time is limited and while I love to scrapbook, I need something simple, straightforward and doable. Project life is what we'll make it and thats what I'm really excited about! :D
ReplyDeleteI am Dawn, living in Pascagoula MS and have just started project life! I just ordered some pictures to start with and am always looking for good ideas to use. I want to keep good memories for my 2 girls, ages 2 and 4 to look back on and remember our time together.

ReplyDeleteHi there! My name is Cecilia and I'm so excited to have found you! I'm from Las Vegas and am SO grateful to have found Project Life this year. I've kept some sort of scrapbook/scrapbox for most of my life and think this will be the perfect system for me. :)
ReplyDeleteHi...this is Shawna Rae and I'm from Bethlehem, NC. Project Life looks like a great fit for me. I love the idea of documenting my life for my grand kids to READ and SEE when they are older. I have been working on my families genealogy and have found that so much is missing because no one documented anything. All of the wonderful day to day stories have been lost over the years. I miss knowing what my relatives lives were like. I don't want my grand kids to have to wonder about mine. I'll be following your blog... And THANK YOU to Becky Higgins for developing this awesome idea!
ReplyDeleteHello! Very nice layout! :)
ReplyDeleteMy name is Melissa and I'm from TN. I am so excited to get into Project Life because it feels totally doable. I have four young children and traditional scrapbooking from scratch is not something I have time for these days. I have let the memory recording slide over the years, but I think with Project Life I can get back to it. I'm really looking forward to it!
Hello. My name is Prachi and I'm from NJ. I have finished 2 years of a Project life but for the first 1.5 year I didn't do a page a week (I did pages by the month) so now that I have a groove and I have expiremented with different ways of doing project life I am excited to start a new year of project life with the page a week concept
ReplyDeleteHello! I'm Deb from Wisconsin. Love your project and all the detail you provided. This is my 3rd year doing Project Life. Hey! I am Amber from Georgia. I have actually just heard of Project Life within the past 3 months. I actually saw your link on The Mom Creative. I haven't ordered any of the product yet because it seems so overwhelming and I have NO idea what all to buy! I have 2 small kiddos and love the idea about capturing moments!!
ReplyDeleteHello! I am Kim and I'm from West Michigan. I started Project Life this year to document the everyday things with my family. I have a one year old, so it's hard to find time to do a traditional 12x12 LO for everything I want to remember. I love that with Project Life I can get memories on an album and then also do a 12x12 layout later with the pictures and journaling from my PL album.
